SAILING CENTER
BYC has now completed the building of it’s COMMUNITY SAILING CENTER and is ready to serve the growing needs of the area by providing stimulation and companionable sailing activities as well as instruction for adults and juniors. BYC is a non-profit, non elitist organization which is reasonably priced and open to everyone with an all inclusive approach to membership. BYC’s Wednesday night races often have 30 or more local boats on the starting line between May 1st thru October 1st providing exciting and varied courses for the novice or expert sailor. |

in July from 5:30 to 8:00 and Saturdays in August from 9:00 to 11:30.

Laser Frostbiting Series:
November 4th- April 20th, Sundays 2:30PM
Includes Boat & Sail storage at Breakwater, and racing. (BYC Annual
membership required for storage. All Boats must be removed by April 27).

Seven boats braved the cold and wind this past Sunday
(01/13/08) at Breakwater Yacht Club's Laser Frostbiting Series.
A couple of seals were sighted. Great sailing with NE winds of 10
to 15 knots with higher gusts. After several swims Derrick Galen
said that the water wasn't too bad!

you know that they are throwing a pizza party for us Wednesday night
racers & RC. They will provide the pizza, but you should B.Y.O drinks.

Tactics Seminar-
on Sat. May 10th,
ELIYA will host the Seminar that will be presented by Chris Buncke of
North Sails. The location will be Breakwater YC in Sag Harbor. It will
run from 9:30am to 4pm with lunch included. The cost is $25 per person.
It is open to all sailors as room permits. So get your checks and reservations
in soon
