* Wednesday, July 2 Oz Trophy Race (with Female Skippers)

Breakwater YC will run a regular Wednesday night race, except all skippers are female. There will be separate trophies, including the coveted Oz Tinman.

Sunday, July 6 Heatherton Trophy Race

Shelter Island Y.C. will start the race in Noyac Bay, sailing clockwise around Shelter Island, and finishing at Dering Harbor.

Saturday, July 19 Orient YC Night Race “Spindrift Trophy”

A race starting at 5 PM in Orient Bay, finishing in Orient Bay. Orient Y.C. plans on a barbeque afterwards.

Saturday, Aug. 16 26th Annual Sag Harbor Cup

Racing around Shelter Is., using a staggered start based on PHRF #’s so that all should finish at the same time in Shelter Is. Sound. Breakwater Y.C. will have a party/awards ceremony at 7:30pm. The coveted Sag Harbor Cup will be awarded as well as trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division plus many others including and not limited to awards for slowest circumnavigation, navigational errors (groundings), best crew uniforms, best boat theme, best yacht club finishes and many more!

Saturday, Aug. 23 ‘Round Gardiner’s Island Race

Devon Y.C. will have a Skipper’s meeting and cocktail party on Friday, Aug. 22. Competitors will race around Gardiner’s Island, starting & ending near Devon.

Saturday, Aug. 23 The Fisher Cup

Old Cove Y.C. plans to run 1 race in Peconic Bay. Courses will be windward – leeward, triangle, or buoy racing. A post race cocktail party is planned.

Sunday, Aug. 31 Poor Memorial Race

Shelter Island Y.C. will start the race in Noyac Bay, sailing counter-clockwise around Shelter Island, and finishing at Dering Harbor.

Saturday, Sept. 27 Maycroft Cup

Sponsored by Sag Harbor Y.C., this race will be in Shelter Island Sound and Gardiner’s Bay. Awards will be presented at the after-race party.

Saturday, Oct. 11 Whitebread - XV

A race starting and finishing in Cutchogue Harbor, sailing around Shelter Island, sponsored by Peconic Bay Sailing Association. Pre-race party is Friday evening. Post-race party will include trophy presentations.

* Saturday, Oct. 25 The Last R.O.T.S. (Race Of The Season)

Breakwater YC will run a race from Shelter Is. Sound to Peconic Bay or Gardiner’s Bay and finishing at the Sag Harbor breakwater. They plan to have a party afterward.
